Yesterday I was invited to the exhibition of Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton called Scritture Silenziose opening cocktail. It was at the magnificient Palazzo Dugnani near Giardini Pubblici. I was told that Louis Vuitton had spent a considerable amount of money to restructure the dying palazzo. Fashion is the new Vatican. A small gift to the city…
Personally, my favourite installation was Cryptozoology of Charles Sandison. I’ve read that Mr. Sandison is “fascinated by theories of physics, biology, medicine, politics and linguistics” and “is a master of computation and digital technologies”. The installation is a video projection made of words, looking like bacterias, randomly swim in the dark.
