Magazyn – Antwerpen
In the July – August issue of Monocle magazine, I’ve read about the exact kind of shop I’d like to own in Milan. Magazyn is a small shop in the beautiful Antwerp offering high quality objects, accessories and furniture. Owner Mr. Thomas Haarmann worked 15 years in visual merchandising and it looks like he’s using every bit of his experience. There is not a window display as the whole shop becomes one; the shop design changes every season, keeping its minimal lines and the basic collection.
My favourites objects are the teak stools, hand made towels from India, washed kangaroo leather white shoes and the painted leather covered note books.
